The Darebin Falcons would like to announce the appointment of the new Aussie Rules Senior Coach for season 2011.
Mick Bell has been appointed the head coach for season 2011. Mick comes to us after working at the Western Jets between 2005 and 2009 and has also held various coaching positions most notably coaching the U18 representative team in the Ballarat Football league in 2009 and in 2010 coaching the Youth Girls Western Region Interleague Team.
Mick is accredited AFL Level one and AFL Level two coach.
Mick is 43 years old; he is married with two children, aged eleven and seven and is employed as a police officer. He currently works at the Centre for Driver Training and Traffic Studies.
Mick is extremely interested in the Darebin Falcons, already having met a few of the girls and attending training prior to Christmas. He is ready for challenge of growing and improving the Falcons and can’t wait to get pre-season started on Monday January 10th.
