Hone your footy skills with Falcons Academy

Falcons Academy was introduced by the Darebin Women’s Sports Clubs in 2018 as a fun, skills based opportunity for girls to improve their football knowledge and skills under the guidance of some of the most experienced leaders of the Darebin Falcons football club.

Falcons Academy offers an opportunity for the next generation of football loving girls and women to both learn from and support our elite players on their journeys towards sustainable careers in the football industry.

Next Academy:

When: Thursday July 17, 2025
Who: U10 – U18 Girls or gender diverse players
Time: 9.30am-12.30pm
Where: AH Capp Reserve, Halwyn Crescent, Preston
Cost: $45 ($25 health care holders)
What to bring: Boots, mouth guard, morning tea and drink

Free hot dog and Coaches Q&A at end of session.

Current Club: Collingwood Football Club (AFLW)

AFLW Career: Originally drafted by the Western Bulldogs from Darebin Falcons (VFLW) in 2019, now plays for Collingwood.

Junior Pathway: Represented Northern Knights and Victoria Metro in 2019 before progressing to VFLW level with Darebin Falcons.

Junior Club: Fitzroy Junior Football Club

Nell’s career follows the traditional pathway from junior football through state representation and VFLW competition to reach elite AFLW level.
