Darebin Falcons coaches, players and families were recently treated to a coaching seminar with Club legends Jane Lange and Aasta O’Connor and expertly emceed by Julia Chiera.
Drawing on their extensive experience in the game, Jane (Former Darebin VFLW coach and current Melbourne AFLW Assistant) and Aasta (Current Geelong AFLW player and AFL NAB Female Talent Manager) covered a wide range of topics during the ‘Let’s Talk Coaching’ seminar.
Some key themes and insights that were explored on the night included; how to encourage girls to activate their physical power, how to effectively communicate with younger generations, ways to encourage skill development and tips on how to construct effective training drills.
