The U/10 girls Heritage Cup was always going to be a toughly fought final, up against the undefeated Spring Hill team. In a tightly contested first half, Spring Hills scored first to take a 1-0 lead into half time. However the Falcons remained determined and focused, keeping plenty of the play, running hard, attacking the ball and keeping the pressure on all over the field. Their great team effort was rewarded when Amelie C booted a strong goal into the back of the net to level the score. Minutes later, Amelie S pounced on an opportunity to kick another goal to take the game. The girls were excited and delighted with their win, which capped off a great tournament for them. Congratulations U/10 Falcons on playing a fantastic final and winning the Heritage Cup!
