We’re excited to share that the Darebin Falcons have been named Darebin City Council’s 2025 Community Group of the Year!
This award celebrates our volunteer-powered mission to create inclusive, affordable sport for women, girls, and gender-diverse people, from grassroots to elite competition. With over 800 players across footy, soccer, and cricket, we’re building pathways, breaking barriers, and making sure everyone feels valued.
We’re proud to operate in collaboration with Darebin City Council and serve the vibrant communities of Melbourne’s inner north, including Thornbury, Preston, Northcote, Reservoir, and surrounding suburbs. Together, we’re levelling the playing field to create accessible, welcoming spaces where sport fosters connection, confidence, and growth.
