The Darebin Falcons would like to announce the appointment of the new Aussie Rules Reserves Coach for season 2011.

Potter

Louise, better known as Potter, is a falcon through and through and we are very proud to welcome her into the coaching arena.
Potter was assistant coach to Kim Bradley last season and was well loved and respected by the players.
Louise will deliver strong and positive leadership and will ensure all team members
have fun and improve their skill levels during the course of the season.
Welcome Louise and good luck and good coaching!

Below is a brief Bio on Lousie:

I have played for Darebin since 2001 but do not think that I will be able to play again this year due to a recent knee reconstruction. Therefore I would be able to concentrate on coaching, developing new players and maintaining a positive and fun culture within the team. Louise has played for the Darebin Falcons since 2001. Seriously injuring her knee in round 3 of the 2010 season, she has stood down from playing committments this year to follow her dream of coaching. Louise played between 2001 and 2006 in the senior side and then between 2007-2010 in the reserves, being named captain in the Darebin Reserves 2009 side.
