The weekend that was…
The weekend produced a mixed bag for our senior soccer sides. Our State League 4 ladies came away with a hard fought 1 – Nil win. However despite putting one in the back of the net in their own right, our State League 3 team unfortunately went down by 4 goals.
In AFL news, it was a very successful Sunday up at CT Barling reserve for all our footballers in red, white and blue.
Our VWFL team kept their opposition goalless in a great four quarter effort, winning by 103 points.
Not to be outdone, our VFL side then went toe to toe with arch rivals Diamond creek. Spurred on by the Div one win, the seniors prevailed in what was a really physical battle. Coming away with the 4 points taking the match out 58 v 41.
