We are absolutely thrilled to announce that legendary Falcon and AFLW superstar Lauren Arnell has been re-signed to the Darebin Falcons. Arnell will run out with the VFLW team tomorrow as they take on Collingwood FC.
Arnell is no stranger to our club, having played over 100 games at the Falcons. She then went on to lead Carlton as the inaugural captain of their AFLW team. Arnell then moved up to sunny QLD to join the Brisbane Lions AFLW squad.
Arnell is a skilful, knowledgeable and crafty player who started her football career in North Ballarat before moving to the Darebin Falcons – where she won 8 premierships! She has represented Victoria six times and has been named in the All-Australian team three times.
We are so happy to have Loz back in our team and are looking forward to seeing her run out in the red, white and blue. Go Falcs!
