The Darebin Falcons have been a cornerstone of women’s Australian Rules Football for over 35 years. Competing in the highest state league, the VFL Women’s (VFLW), we are the only standalone women’s club—unaffiliated with AFL/AFLW teams. As we look forward to the 2025 season, we face significant financial challenges that threaten our ability to compete and thrive.

 This year, we’re launching a fundraising campaign to raise $20,000. These funds are crucial for securing facilities, supporting our players, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of our club. We can’t do this alone, and we need the support of our community, fans, and friends to keep the Falcons flying high.

Donations

Tax Deductable Donations

If you’d like to claim a tax deduction for your donation, please visit our fundraising page on the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) website here. Donations of $2 or more to approved projects are tax-deductible. After donating, you’ll receive an official receipt from the ASF to use in your income tax return.

Fundraising Target & Timeline

If our fundraising target is exceeded, any additional funds will go towards other VFLW program expenses and club initiatives. This campaign may be extended if required.
