Darebin Falcons vs Mitchell Ranges
Might have been a draw but it felt like we walked away with a win this week. Awesome effort on everybody’s part, Falcons dominating the first half with a nice early goal by Kate at the 16 min, followed up by a beautiful goal a few minutes later by Kristen. This game showed how well we are playing as a team with everybody running everywhere and mostly being first to the ball. Heads, bellies and feet we kicked butt two late goals drew the game for half time.
Amy put her body on the line for numerous goal saves almost getting knocked out at one stage whilst saving a goal. With no subs our midfield and forwards of Kristen Sina, Briony, Kate, Eliza and Michelle did an amazing job continuously running everywhere. Evia with an injured knee was as strong as ever controlling our back line. Triangles could be seen everywhere as we passed the ball around and everybody could be seen working well as a team. Scored an equalising goal in the last 12minutes to bring final score to a draw.
