The story behind the design
The jumper design is the work of Fitzroy Stars artist Rebecca Bell (Yorta Yorta, Gunditjmara), inspired by the story of the Darebin Falcons as told by a group of VFLW players, and led by #7 Katelyn Hazlett (Wathaurong).
The jumper includes the Darebin lightning bolt design as well as stars to show that Darebin and Fitzroy Stars stand together.
The centrepiece to the artwork is the Merri creek that runs alongside our home ground, and shows the continuing impact and contributions of the many members of the Falcs family, including young people, who have a special role in the club.
