Falcons Planning for the Future
What happened?
On Saturday 26 November, 2011, the falcons and their friends flocked to a community hall in Reservoir. We came together for one purpose – to create a future for the falcons.
Our guiding questions for the day were: Where are we now? What’s going on around us we need to take into account? What could it look like if we got it right? How will we get there?
Who was involved?
Around 40 people including players from all our sporting codes, committee members, parents, past players, life members, league representatives, Darebin council, and Fiona Richardson, MP, State Member for Northcote attended and contributed their ideas. So a big thanks to you all!
Thanks also to Colin Pidd (BTLi Pty Ltd) who generously donated his time and expertise to facilitate the day with energy, enthusiasm and good old community spirit.
What happens next?
We are currently compiling all the contributions from the day and will soon be circulating a summary for your feedback. We will then draw up a plan, outlining our club’s core purpose and priorities, which is expected to guide the work of the committee over the coming years.
Can I help?
We welcome your ongoing interest, and look forward to receiving your comments and ideas over the next few months.
