We are pleased to announce our partnership with Apprenticeship Support Australia, the one-stop
shop for those seeking to hire an apprentice or trainee, or take up an Australian Apprenticeship as a
career path.

At the Falcons, we are passionate about promoting equality, and providing girls with an opportunity to
achieve any goal they have – in any field. We have been the home to plumbers, electricians and a
huge range of other trades. So we are really excited to promote this great organisation!

To kick off, we are hosting a ‘Apprenticeship Support Australia Career Night’ for all players, family or
friends, who might be interested in learning more about starting a career through an apprenticeship
and traineeship pathway. It will be an informative night where you can learn about the full range of
training and qualification options.

You will also hear from Apprenticeship Support Australia’s ambassador, and Collingwood AFLW
player Maddie Shevlin, who will be sharing her experiences as a school-based apprentice and her
journey being drafted into the AFLW competition.

So make sure you join us at AH Capp between 7-8pm on Tuesday 25 th June, 2019 if you are
interested in learning more.

In the meantime, we recommend that you complete the Career quizzes below. This will assist the
Apprenticeship Australia team in tailoring the night to suit your needs:
