Update of 8 Ball side.
Pool have once again had a successful year. The end of 2009 saw the team once again play in the grand final for the WEBA Doubles competition. Unfortunately, the Panthers defeated us and we were runners up. Nat Froling and Cathy Pizzey won the team and the competition doubles aggregate.
Pool have once again had a successful year. The end of 2009 saw the team once again play in the grand final for the WEBA Doubles competition. Unfortunately, the Panthers defeated us and we were runners up. Nat Froling and Cathy Pizzey won the team and the competition doubles aggregate.
The singles season kicked of in February 2010 and the team had a very slow start to the season, unusually placed in the lower half of the ladder. Mid way through the season, the team got it together and slowly crawled up the ladder and played in the semi finals. The team easily won their semi final and went straight into the grand final against the Rebels. The Devils/Falcons were victorious on the night and won the grand final.
Karen “Guv” Winter won the singles aggregate for both the team and for the association.
