The Darebin Women’s Sports Clubs is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Dal Pos as Senior Football Coach.
Richard joined the Falcons in 2010 as Youth Girls coach and during his two years at the helm saw back-to-back flags. Richard’s proven record of fostering and encouraging young talent and providing an enthusiastic training and game day environment has impressed all at the club.
Richard has a wealth of experience coaching both men and women including premiership success with Junior Boys at Ivanhoe. Richard was also a Senior Assistant at Marcellin, an assistant coach at the 2010 U18 Nationals competition and has been involved in the game consistently for over 10 years.
Richard will also continue as Youth Girls coach with Jessica Dal Pos as Assistant Coach. Jessica is a Youth Girls Premiership Player and Captain. In 2011 she won the Youth Girls Best and Fairest, captained Victoria and the U18 Youth Girls National Championships and won the Eva-Peers medal.
We congratulate Richard and Jessica on their appointments and look forward to an exciting year of football in 2012.
