Darebin Womens Sports Club is a rapidly expanding club, with growing numbers across all ages groups, through juniors, youth and senior teams. With our growth we require experienced coaches across all teams in order to best engage our members with the delivery of an excellent soccer program.
Darebin Womens Sports Club is now interviewing for coaches for our 2015 season for our senior teams. In 2015 we will have 2 senior soccer squads, most likely a State League 3 and State League 4 team. We are looking for a “Head Coach” who will coach our highest level senior team but also provide assistance to our junior coaches and coach of the second senior team when required. Both senior teams train two nights per week and play on Sundays.
Ideally the applicant should have experience in coaching women’s sports teams, and either currently hold relevant coaching certification or be willing to immediately undertake the relevant FFA qualification.
The applicant will be familiar with the FFA National Curriculum and skilled in delivering effective training sessions. Coaches will be experienced in player management and achieving the best results from individuals whilst fostering teamwork and club pride.
Applicants must be currently residing in Melbourne, Australia. Our club is situated in Preston, so please consider traveling time when applying for this position, as successful coaches will be required to take two nights training and attend match day. There is no additional financial compensation for travel expenses.
A modest honorarium payment is offered with this position.
