History was made in Women’s AFL this week, with the announcement of the first 8 AFL clubs to receive a license to field a women’s team in 2017.
It has been fantastic to see such a strong homegrown Darebin presence amongst the ranks throughout the exciting process.
Thank you to the trailblazers and ambassadors who have worked so hard at all levels in women’s AFL to achieve this step towards parity for the sport. Looking forward to 2017!
