Our very own red, white and now a NAVY BLUE, Lauren Arnell, has been signed as a priority pick to play for Carlton in the 2017 national women’s AFL league.
Lauren has played with the Darebin Falcons for 11 years, winning 8 premierships, representing Victoria 6 times in the state team and playing all 5 exhibition matches as a Western Bulldog. Loz has taken plenty of individual accolades in that time including leading goal kicker, and 3 all Australian awards.
What makes this even sweeter for us is knowing how much work Lauren puts in behind the scenes to improve the game and help others achieve their goals. She has coached and been an ambassador for numerous teams and coordinated our inaugural Falcons Auskick girls only program this year.
If you have met her you’ll know that as well as being a gun footballer she is also very humble, genuine and an all round likeable person.
