We decided to sponsor a player at Falcons because of the severe lack of funding among many women’s teams despite women’s sport flourishing.

The Northcote Park Football Netball Club has for many years supported other Darebin Community Sports Clubs. We worked to get the Darebin Falcons to train and play at Bill Lawry Oval Northcote. We see sponsoring Karly McNiece as a great opportunity to strengthen the relationship between the two clubs. The McNiece family is a famous name at Northcote Park and we feel Karly will carry the famous name both at Darebin Falcons and be connected with Northcote Park
Rachel is a family friend plus my daughter played soccer for the Falcons a few years ago.
It’s my way of giving back to the club now I can finally afford to.
