A community club like ours is only as strong as the commitment of our volunteers. We would like to acknowledge the contribution of two individuals who have gone above and beyond for the Falcons so far 2017.

March Volunteer of the Month – Jesse Miller

Jesse joined us in November and has a background in exercise and rehab. He has been instrumental in running our AFL pre-season strength & conditioning program and getting the girls fit and ready for the season ahead.

Jesse has fast become one of the Falcon family and we are so grateful for all the work he’s done with us so far. He has previously worked with the Coburg VFL team and we are very glad after a little break from footy he decided to get back into it and help the Falcons in 2017!

April Volunteer of the Month – Mereki Nieman

Mereki is in her third year of coaching at the Darebin Falcons and is the coach of the Under 10 Kangaroo white team. Mereki is known for her calm and positive coaching style as well as her detailed and entertaining match reports!

Mereki is also a member of the junior soccer sub-committee and recently contributed to the Club’s strategic planning process. This month Mereki undertook the mammoth task of coordinating almost 100 numbered uniforms for our Under 12 to Under 16 junior soccer teams. Thanks Mereki for all your help and involvement in the Club.
