On Friday October 24th the Falcons celebrated the year that was in 2014 with their annual Presentation night held at the Olympic Hotel.
Congratulations to our two new Life Members in Harriet Radermacher and Niki Duckstein.
Harriet has been involved with the club since 2003, as a player, Team Manager, Committee Member, Sponsorship and Grants Coordinator and part of the Strategic Plan steering committee. Harriet’s work behind the scenes is a huge part of the club’s current success and stability. Congratulations and thank you Harriet!
Niki has also been involved since 2003 (or 2004, who can remember!), as a player, committee member, Youth Girls administrator and Facilities manager. The hours Niki has donated to the club behind the scenes could account for a full time job! Congratulations and thank you Niki!
The Sal Rees Club Person of the year was awarded to Maria Caruso. Maria’s involvement in Junior soccer over the last couple of years has been indispensible. Maria has coordinated the canteen and other fundraising ventures to an excellent standard for the 150 junior players that attend. Maria is well-loved by all the junior players who enjoy her jelly cups, bbqs and other goodies, and by their parents who love her cappuccinos. Thank you and congratulations Maria!
