You would be forgiven for thinking Etihad Stadium was the new Falcon nest, after the red, white and blue dominated the hollow turf this past fortnight.
Sunday June 5th saw 6 of our fantastic senior AFL players pull on the Bulldogs jersey in an exhibition game at Etihad against WA. In a battle many picked to be as the toughest exhibition match yet, the Doggies fought out to come away 13 point winners.
Congratulations to our very own Katie Brennan, Norieul Kinross, Lauren Arnell, Karen Paxman, Nicole Callinan, and Darcy Vescio on not only their selection but their fine performances on the day.
Not to be out done, last Tuesday 30 soccer crazy mini Falcons got the chance to step out onto Etihad stadium as part of the half-time entertainment during the Matildas international match v New Zealand.
The girls (and their coaches) had a fantastic time. It is great to see Falcons young and old, representing multiple codes, making an impact on the big stage.
