The Darebin Women’s Sports Club is very pleased and excited to announce our AFL coaches for 2015:
Premier Division – Richard Dal Pos
Division 1 – Grant Hammond
Under 18s – Elise Casamento
Richard will continue to build on his excellent coaching record and contribution at the club in 2015.
Grant comes to the Falcons with a wealth of experience both playing and coaching. Grant played 250 games himself before coaching the Melbourne Uni Reds/Fitzroy for 6 years and West Coburg as Reserves & Assistant Senior Coach. Most recently he has held the Director of Coaching position at Fitzroy Football Club. Grant’s passion for building players’ skills and game sense will be a great fit for the Division 1 team. Congratulations Grant!
Elise is a home-grown Falcon who has played in the Under 18s team and Division 1 team over the last 5 years. Elise has coached Basketball for three years and in 2014 was the Assistant Youth Girls coach with the Falcons. Elise brings a passion for the game and the club, as well as great rapport with the current U18s team group. Elise completed her AFL Level 1 Coaching (Youth) qualification in 2014 and is currently studying a Bachelor of Exercise and Health Science. Congratulations Elise!
